 To begin this exciting auction, we will be offering some of the book collection of the late David Wood of Nantucket and
Stockbridge, Mass.

 Mr. Woods collection includes many first editions and numerous signed volumes including a copy of "Ballads" inscribed by Robert Louis Stevenson, in addition to an extensive library of Nantucket related books, many signed by the authors.
We will also be offering more from our favorite Stonington, CT home, as well as from homes and estates in Brookline, Hamilton, Newburyport and Nantucket, Ma.

We are pleased to have been chosen to offer one of the finest architectural carved eagles to come to market in many years, an eagle which once graced the Boston Armory of the First Corps of Cadets in 1890.
In addition, we will be selling a massive custom five drawer circular gaming table with 70" top and carved paw feet from the Armory, a Bronze 4 foot high clock and surround from a Tremont St. Boston building now owned by Emerson College, a gold tipped walking stick presented to John Quincy Adams, a fine whalebone carved walking stick, rare series of Hudson River prints including West Point, a pair of Ralph Lauren leather club chairs, an Irish "famine" cabinet, a Sheraton farm table in old red paint, a canvas goose decoy dated 1921 and by Walter C. Marr impressed "WCM", an original Confederate "Richmond" Carbine dated 1864, a G.A.R. Kepi and reunion medals, silver including a 6 piece silver tea service by Caldwell together with other silver including Tiffany, a Sheraton Pembroke table in mahogany branded "J. Byrne", wedgewood calendar tiles, a fine Cartier 18k and diamond lady's watch along with other fine Estate gold, siler and costume jewelry. Artwork by Marshall Spring Bidwell, Nantucket artist JoBarker White, and a rare series of sketches of "First impressions as a student at Harvard College" by Augustus Hoppin.
